オープンバッジとは What is an open badge?
オープンバッジとは、修得した知識やスキルを証明するデジタル証明書です。
発行されたバッジは、自分のウォレットアプリに受け取り、集めていきます。バッジにはメタデータが埋め込まれており、発行者・受領者に関する情報等のほか、バッジがどのようなスキル等に対して発行されたか等を確認することができる仕組みになっています。これにより、何を学び身に付けたのかを、学修者自身が認識しやすくなるだけでなく、メールの署名や履歴書、SNS等へバッジを添付・掲載することにより、自分のスキルや強みを客観的にアピールすることが可能となります。
また、オープンバッジは国際通用性があり、日本でも省庁や自治体をはじめ多くの教育機関・企業等が利用しているほか、海外でもebadge等と呼ばれ広く普及しています。ブロックチェーン技術により改ざん・偽造が極めて困難なことから信頼性が高いことも大きな特徴の一つです。

オープンバッジの獲得方法
How do I qualify for a badge?
プログラムの修了等をオープンバッジで証明するプログラムについては、修了等に必要な要件を満たした場合、バッジが発行されます。修了要件はプログラムにより異なりますので、それぞれのサイト等で確認してください。
Upon completing requirements of specific programs, a badge will be issued to acknowledge your achievement. To learn more about each program, please visit its corresponding website.
オープンバッジの受取方法
How do I receive a badge?
取得したバッジは、株式会社LecoSが管理・運営する「オープンバッジウォレット」に、取得者各自が貯めて保管します(*)。
本学開設プログラムにおいてオープンバッジが発行されると千葉大学Gmailアドレスあてにオープンバッジ発行団体から「オープンバッジ授与のお知らせ」メールが届きます。メール本文の記載に従い自身の「オープンバッジウォレット」にログインし、バッジ受領操作を行うことで取得することができます。
・お知らせメールは「noreply@openbadge-globa.com」から配信されます。受信できるようにしておいてください。
⚠️ バッジ受領後、必ず実施してください
初期登録しているメールアドレスは、千葉大学Gmailアドレスです。卒業後にアカウントが停止となった場合に、バッジ操作に支障が生じますので千葉大学Gmailアドレス以外の任意のメールアドレスを「オープンバッジウォレット」に追加してください。（メールアドレスの追加は、自身のウォレット内で行います）
(*)千葉大学以外が発行するオープンバッジも、国際標準規格OpenBadge2.0により作成されたバッジであれば、同じウォレットに貯めていくことができます。
The badges will be stored in the “Open Badge Wallet” managed and maintained by LecoS, Inc. When an Open Badge is issued under the program offered by the University, you will receive an email at your Chiba University Gmail address from the issuing organization with a “オープンバッジ授与のお知らせ (Notice of Open Badge Award)”. You can obtain the badge by logging in to your “Open Badge Wallet” and following the instructions in the email.
・The email will be sent from “noreply@openbadge-globa.com.” Please ensure that you can receive it.
⚠️Must be completed upon receipt of badge
The initially registered email address is your Chiba University Gmail address. As your account will be suspended after graduation, please add a non-Chiba University email address to your “Open Badge Wallet” to avoid issues with badge operations. (You can add an email address within your own wallet.)
(*)Open Badges issued by organizations other than Chiba University can be stored in the same wallet ,provided the badges are created according to the international standard OpenBadge 2.0.

オープンバッジは、自分の学修歴を可視化することができるだけでなく、自分のスキルや強みを客観的にアピールする手段の一つとして利用できます。
メールの署名欄や履歴書に添付する、SNSで発信する、オンライン会議の背景に貼るなど、バッジの活用方法は様々です。
