オープンバッジとは What is an open badge?

オープンバッジとは、修得した知識やスキルを証明するデジタル証明書です。

発行されたバッジは、自分のウォレットアプリに受け取り、集めていきます。バッジにはメタデータが埋め込まれており、発行者・受領者に関する情報等のほか、バッジがどのようなスキル等に対して発行されたか等を確認することができる仕組みになっています。これにより、何を学び身に付けたのかを、学修者自身が認識しやすくなるだけでなく、メールの署名や履歴書、SNS等へバッジを添付・掲載することにより、自分のスキルや強みを客観的にアピールすることが可能となります。

また、オープンバッジは国際通用性があり、日本でも省庁や自治体をはじめ多くの教育機関・企業等が利用しているほか、海外でもebadge等と呼ばれ広く普及しています。ブロックチェーン技術により改ざん・偽造が極めて困難なことから信頼性が高いことも大きな特徴の一つです。

How do I qualify for a badge?

プログラムの修了等をオープンバッジで証明するプログラムについては、修了等に必要な要件を満たした場合、バッジが発行されます。修了要件はプログラムにより異なりますので、それぞれのサイト等で確認してください。

Upon completing requirements of specific programs, a badge will be issued to acknowledge your achievement. To learn more about each program, please visit its corresponding website.

オープンバッジの受取方法

How do I receive a badge?

取得したバッジは、株式会社LecoSが管理・運営する「オープンバッジウォレット」に、取得者各自が貯めて保管します。千葉大学以外が発行するオープンバッジも、国際標準規格OpenBadge2.0により作成されたバッジであれば、同じウォレットに貯めていくことができます。また、卒業・修了後も使用するメールアドレスをアカウントに追加することにより、千葉大学を離れた後も継続して同じウォレットを利用・管理できるようになります。
詳しい利用方法は、あらためてお知らせします。

You are asked to create your very own open badge wallet, which will be expertly managed by LecoS, Inc. This wallet will enable you to receive and securely store any badges issued to you, whether by Chiba University or other compatible institutions. In order to ensure seamless and uninterrupted access to your wallet, it is important that you add your personal email address to your account. This will allow you to continue accessing your wallet even after you graduate from Chiba University. Please be aware that you will initially create your wallet using your Chiba University email address, which will become invalid after graduation.
We will inform you about detailed instructions separately.
